A big congrats to Mark Husted to ran a season best last weekend at the Husker Invitational. With an opening quarter of 55.5 on the banked Husker track, he went on to take the lead with a lap to go where he stayed until he finished in a time of 1:51.36.
But don’t take our word for it. Check out the video of him yourself. Doesn’t that singlet look sharp? He was accompanied in Lincoln by Michael Sanders, who raced earlier in the day placing 9th in a time of 1:57.37. Full results can be found here.

USA Cross Country Championships
Results off the track, Sarah Pizzo competed in the Open Women’s 8k at the USA Cross Championships held in St. Louis, MO. She was racing against some of the toughest women in the nation and in some tough 35o and gusty weather. Even against those odds she still help strong and ran her race. Sarah overtook every runner she encountered without loosing a spot. With a solid race she was able to have a strong finish with her last 1k her fastest split. She finished in a time of 29:43, good for 44th place. Results can be found here.
